Nick will be greatly missed. He was talented and witty and just loved to see young people develop as musicians. He gave 100% to his teaching and his music - he was as at home conducting his band in the local school concert as he was in the Albert Hall. Not many people have the personality to make the Albert Hall audience participation so active and vocal, but Nick did it. To echo the previous memory - he was truly 'funky and cool'.
